Where the investor graph comes from
The spine is public record: SEC Form D filings, which name funds, their people, and their raising activity. On top of that, enrichment from public sources adds websites, professional emails, LinkedIn identities, sector focus, and recency signals.
Every profile carries provenance internally: which source produced which field, and when. The verification badges summarize how corroborated a profile is.
No data comes from scraping LinkedIn, buying private databases of personal contacts, or anything a source's terms forbid.
