Choosing a sequence cadence

A sequence is a multi-touch email cadence that sends itself: each investor enters at step 1, later steps go out on their day offsets, and the moment an investor replies they leave the cadence automatically (auto-stop on reply).

The three starting cadences

When you press New sequence, you pick a starting point. All of them are fully editable afterward in the step editor.

  • Classic 5-touch (5 emails over 18 days). The default for cold-to-warm investor outreach: an opener, a bump, a proof point, social proof from the round, and a graceful close. Patient and credible.
  • Fast 3-touch (3 emails over 7 days). For warm lists and post-event follow-ups, when the investor already has context and timing matters more than patience.
  • Slow-burn nurture (3 emails over 45 days). For pass-nurture investors and next-round positioning: low frequency updates that keep the relationship warm without crowding the inbox.

Choosing between them

Ask one question: how warm is the list? Cold or lightly warmed lists get the Classic 5-touch. Investors who already know the deal get the Fast 3-touch. Investors who said "not now" get the Slow-burn nurture.

After you pick

The sequence is created as a draft: nothing sends yet. Enroll investors from a raise, review the steps (every subject and body is editable, and AI personalization can be toggled per step), then press Start. Sending respects your send window, weekday settings, and daily cap per inbox.
