The acquirer library

The acquirer library is your firm's buyer database across every mandate: what each sponsor or strategic has said it wants, and why it passed on past deals. Only your workspace sees your records.

Adding an acquirer

Choose Add an acquirer, then add a sponsor from the graph, or a sponsor or strategic by hand.

Building the record

  • Paste meeting notes with who said it, when and the source, then Propose lines. Lunra drafts each line beside the sentence it came from, and nothing enters the record until you accept it.
  • Add a line to write one yourself. It goes on the record at once.
  • Retire a line that no longer holds. It moves to the retired lines and is kept as history.

Each accepted, added or retired line moves the record to its next version, so you can see when a buyer's stated criteria changed.

Using it on a mandate

Under On mandates, Copy as the mandate's criteria sets a mandate's criteria from the record, each line linked back to it. When a buyer passes on a mandate, the reason is written to its record, so the next mandate sees it.
