The buyer list and the seller's approvals

The buyer list is one mandate's long list, and the list the seller signs off before a teaser goes out. Open it with Find buyers on the mandate.

Adding buyers

Add buyers from your acquirer library, from Suggested from the graph, or by hand. Lookback (12, 24 or 36 months) sets how recent a sponsor's activity on the graph must be, and the Sources strip shows where the list comes from.

Fit

Each buyer is scored the moment it arrives and placed on a shelf: A · Strong fit, B · Worth a look, C · Long shot, or Unscored when a hard line is unknown. Why this buyer fits shows five axes, each with its score, its weight and one sentence; an axis the record cannot answer reads unknown.

Fit compares what a buyer has said it buys with this mandate. It is not a prediction that a buyer will bid, or a recommendation of any buyer. When a buyer's record changes, its score is marked stale until you Rescore.

The seller's approvals

  • Excluded records the reason and the date.
  • The seller sign-off approves every buyer awaiting the seller, on the date you set.
  • Export for the seller prints one page: approved, awaiting and excluded, in alphabetical order, with no ranking, no scores and no fees.

Only an approved buyer can be marked as sent the teaser. Next: the process board.
